Kane would like to thank all our clients, suppliers and technology partners. We’ve had another great year, with continued growth and success. Businesses are made up of people, and we are firm believers in connecting with people and their businesses and working with them to deliver a technical solution that ticks all the boxes, rather than just sticking in another system that’s not going to be flexible enough.
2019 in Review
This year, we’ve seen great uptake in willingness to move to hosted telephony systems, or cloud telephony, as people’s perception of the technology changes and apprehension about not having their telecoms equipment on-premises disappears.
There has also been a big shift to compliance and data security as businesses of all sizes are starting to consider how their clients’ data is managed. There are now the tools within the industry to make sure that businesses of all sizes can remain compliant and keep their customers’ data safe. That could be from PCI compliance for taking card payments over the phone, GDPR security to ensure mobile devices are tracked, kept safe and can be locked when lost, and also encrypted cloud backup to prevent against data loss or ransomware attacks. We see this shift in perspective continue to build momentum as we enter the next decade.
We’ve put together an article that highlights some of the biggest trends we’ve seen emerge and develop in the world of call centre technology and we’ll be back soon with some of our predictions for 2020.
Looking Forward
We expect 2020 to bring with it even more advances and increases in adoption of hosted telephony systems, and we are looking forward to developing our relationships with both new and existing clients.
Don’t forget, the new year takes us another step closer to the end of analogue with BT Openreach planning on switching off all of their existing PSTN and ISDN networks by 2025. While some see this as a major inconvenience, we see it as an opportunity to adopt more sophisticated technology and embrace the power of cloud telephony.
Kane is offering a free, no-obligation audit to identify the systems you have in place and develop a plan to ensure you are ready for the end of analogue. We would also welcome the opportunity to show you how the right cloud-based system can boost your level of customer experience and improve your bottom line. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
It’s been a great year for us and we’ve also seen a good number of our customers continue to grow and expand, which is fantastic for all involved.
From everyone here at Kane, we’d like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a fantastic 2020 and we look forward to working with you for many years to come.
