Where do you backup your data?
Is typically a question we ask when first talking to someone about securing their customers and their company’s data. Invariably we get some variations of;
- “We don’t… yet”
- “We use Office 365/AppleStorage/Google Drive”
- “Our existing backup provider works fine”
The answers to those statements can be long, technical ones, but for the purpose of this post we’ll (try) to keep it short and sweet.
If you’re not backing up your data then you should. You really, really should. 25% of SMB’s do not survive a critical data loss. If you have something like Dropbox that all your users use, what’s to stop one of them deleting all the files?
